AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF VIJAY FOUNDATION

 

  1. To spread and promote education or learning or vocational training in all its branches in such a manner as the Trustees may think fit including:
      • Imparting education and training to economically backward and deserving students without any distinction of caste, colour or creed.
      • Establishment and maintenance of schools, Study Centres, and Vidyapeeths and other institutions for imparting education and training of students.
      • Establishment and support of fellowships, Scholarships and Prizes for enhancement of education and vocation and training.
      •  Establishment and maintenance of and support to hostels and Boarding House and grant of fee boarding and lodging to economically backward and deserving students upon such terms and for such period in each case as a trustee may thing fit.
      • To start, establish and conduct training institution for:

                                  a)Technical education
                                  b) Adult education
                                  c) Basic education

      • Awarding Scholarships, fellowships for the purpose of understanding higher Education, and Research work in any branch of Medical Science, Engineering, art, legal education or literature to such deserving students or scholars who cannot afford and have no means to undertake such work or studies on such terms and conditions, the Trustees may think fit but without any distinction of caste, colour and creed.
      • To establish, maintain and support libraries, museums and reading rooms for advancement of education and knowledge in general.
      • To publish, translate into various languages, import, export, circulate, supply, maintain stock and distribute on non–commercial basis, appropriate books and materials on welfare peace and co-operation and other subjects of public interest in or throughout the country or abroad.
      • To spread and promote skill development, education, learning or training of computer in all its branches in such a manner as the Trustees may think fit.
      • To establish and maintain educational & re-habilitation centres for the physically/ mentally challenged persons.
      • To enter into joint venture or collaborate with other institutions operating in the field in any part of the world to incorporate latest technology and facilities available for imparting education and training and research in the field.

 2.    Affording of Medical relief in such manner as the trustees may thing fit, including: –

  • Setting up Hospital or other Medical institutions, Medical relief vans and running them or granting of subscriptions and donations to Hospitals, Dispensaries, convalescent Homes, orphanages and other Public institutions for administering medical relief to the needy.
  • Setting up medical research institutions, running them and granting of subscriptions and donations to such institutions.
  • Endowments to and help or support to hospitals, Maternity Homes, Sanatorium and Dispensaries.
  • Grant of Medical help to the poor and grant of medical help to deserving persons during epidemic, famine, flood, earth quake or any unforeseen calamity or war or warlike operations.
  • To carry out and support awareness programs for early detection and treatment of cataract and other related eye disease
  • To set up and manage medical clinics, camps, hospitals for early detection and treatment of cataract and other eye diseases.
  • To carry out and support awareness programmes for the prevention of critical diseases like Tuberculosis, Cancer, AIDS and for better clean living.
  • To set up and manage hospices, nursing homes, special care homes for patients suffering from critical diseases like Tuberculosis, Cancer, AIDS or any other life-threatening diseases and provide for palliative care for such patients.
  • To carry out and support awareness programmes for the prevention and management of lifestyle diseases like diabetes, thyroid, hypertension and for healthy living.
  • To propagate campaign and carry out and support programmes for family planning & small family norms and for distribution of contraceptions.
  • To propagate, promote, educate, and spread the knowledge and practices of Yoga, its benefits to beneficiaries of all groups without differentiation on account of caste, colour or creed.
  • To propagate, promote, educate, and spread the knowledge and practices of Naturopathy & other alternate therapies, including but not limited to Ayurveda, Unani etc, its benefits to beneficiaries of all groups without differentiation on account of caste, colour or creed. 

3.  Relief to the poor which includes:

  • Empowerment of poor through awareness of their rights, opportunities, and upgradation of lifestyle
  • Distribution of free food and clothing to the poor and needy.
  • Setting up or helping by endowments or otherwise orphanages or poor houses for the benefit or orphans and/or other deserving persons.
  • Helping of poor widows.
  • Establishing or rendering help to any institution for the alleviation of human suffering.
  • Sinking of wells and/or providing hand pumps
  • Subscriptions, contributions and/or donations to any public charitable Trust of funds or institutions for promotions of any public charitable objects.
  • Establishment, maintenance and support of libraries, museums and Reading room for advancement of Educations and Knowledge in general.
  • The creation, maintenance, supply of or support of garden gymnasiums, physical culture centres, Sport Centres and other means of recreation for advancements of sports, health and Hygiene.
  • Financial help in marriages of poor.
  • Providing equipment like tricycles, crutches, artificial limbs, hearing aids to the physically handicapped/ impaired.

4.  Legal and Social Support to Marginalised communities and to Poor, women and children which           include:

  • Providing legal aid to victims, victim groups, potential victim and society in general;
  • To spread legal awareness about various issues, rights of civil society and marginalized communities through workshops, programs, campaigns and such other activities as deemed fit 

5.  General Public Utilities which include:

  • To examine, research and explore alternatives to the industrial lifestyle by re- introducing the importance of the metaphysical dimension in human endeavour, so that outer activities may be guided by considerations of inner growth rather than materialistic acquisition and consumerism.
  • To establish a community in an ecological, harmonious setting for exploring such an alternative and to take up Community Development Programmes including development of infrastructure formation & promotion and Self Help Groups.
  • To promote, activate people for development of co-operation.
  • To promote respect for elderly, to support programs for the better living of senior citizens of our society.
  • To set up old age homes, shelters and special care centre with or without medical care for the elderly.
  • To research, develop and market methods and technologies in farming, housing, health, energy generation and other areas for the preservation of the biosphere.
  • To conduct research in those areas relating to the physical, natural, life and social sciences, yoga, and traditional forms of belief which indicate a confluence with a metaphysical world –view.
  • To disseminate ideas pertaining to an alternative to industrial civilization.
  • To promote and spread the knowledge and awareness about environmental protection, sustainable agricultural practices, urban farming and related practices.
  • To create, stimulate and activate awareness among the public for the preservation of the cultural and natural heritage of India and respect for and knowledge of Indian experiences and skills, through various programs, workshops, concerts, and such events
  • To renovate or repair or assist in the renovation or repair of any place of worship or pilgrimage or of historical, archaeological, or other cultural interest.
  • To Promotion of eco-friendly equipment, sulabh toilets, solar lighting/ cooking materials.
  • To publish and market and/or assist in the publication & marketing of books, pamphlets, periodicals, newspapers for the spread and advancement and marketing of education and culture and for the advancement of the objects of the
